Welcome To The
The Shea Naval Aviation Museum has been temporarily closed to the public due to major construction activity at Union Point. Basically, the road that goes past the museum has been closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic. We hope to be able to reopen the museum in November, but this will depend upon the status of construction activity in the area at that time.
A special event will be held in the Weymouth, Massachusetts area on Saturday September 30th 2017 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the closing of NAS South Weymouth and the 25th anniversary of the deactivation of Marine attack squadron VMA-322 at NAS South Weymouth. More details are provided here. Please note that seats for this event are strictly limited, reservations are required in advance, there is a cutoff date, and reservations are being taken on a first-come first-served basis NOW!
